Steak & Stilton Ciabatta
Pan fried minute steak on an open ciabatta topped with balsamic caramelised onion, button mushrooms, rocket & melted stilton cheese.

Halloumi & Pesto Sandwich
Soft halloumi cheese, chargrilled peppers & sun dried tomato pesto with fresh farmhouse bread.

Ploughmans Sandwich
Punchy farmhouse cheddar, chunky chutney & salad on thick cut farmhouse bread. Served with side salad, an apple & home pickled onions.

Soup of the Day
Homemade, hot & wholesome, please ask for our soup of the day served with fresh white or granary farmhouse bread.

Red River Burger
Our own secret recipe burger, in a poppy seed bap with grilled cheddar, lettuce, red onion, mayo and homemade chargrill roasted salsa. Served with chips and side salad.

Seared Scallops
Fresh pan fried scallops served on a chorizo salad with baby leaves, cherry tomatoes & balsamic glaze.

Succulent shell-on king prawns in chilli, garlic & white wine. Served with fresh bread for dipping & a side salad.

Patatas Bravas
Oven roasted new potatoes and rich tomato sauce topped with deliciously dreamy creamy aioli & a side salad.

Fresh Hake
Fresh fillet of hake succulent and tender with a fresh herby salsa verde on a bed of wilted spinach, oven roasted tomatoes & parmesan mashed potato.

Mussels Mexicana
Smoky, slightly sweet Mexican chipotle chilli and tomato infuse this dish of fresh mussels, finished with coriander & cream. Served with a chunk of fresh bread.

Indonesian Mackerel
Local Cornish mackerel marinated in honey, soy, ginger, garlic, lime & coriander and served on a bed of vegetable & rice nasi goreng. Topped with peanuts, fresh coriander and lime.

Red Mullet
Risotto Succulent fresh red mullet with a crunchy hazelnut crust served atop a delicious leek & spinach risotto.

Chicken with Stilton & White Wine
Delicious chargrilled chicken breast with a smoked pancetta, stilton & white wine sauce. served with balsamic cherry tomatoes, flat mushroom & handcut chunky chips. Served with seasonal vegetables or salad

Fish and Chips
More sustainable than cod, our fish & chips are served with hake fillet in a crunchy beer batter, served with handcut chunky chips, homemade tartare sauce and homemade minted mushy peas.

8oz Sirloin or Rump Steak
Locally reared beef chargrilled to your liking served with balsamic cherry tomatoes, flat mushroom, onion rings & handcut chunky chips. Served with seasonal vegetables or salad.

Gammon Steak
Locally reared Gammon chargrilled to your liking served with pineapple, balsamic cherry tomatoes, flat mushroom, onion rings & handcut chunky chips. Served with seasonal vegetables or salad. £11.95

Lamb & Rocket Salad
Marinated lamb chargrilled and served atop a wild rocket & mixed leaf salad, roasted new potatoes, chargrilled peppers & courgette with a rustic basil pesto dressing.

Moroccan Lamb Tagine
Tender pieces of lamb and Chef Amie’s special blend of Moroccan spices make this dish full of Middle Eastern flavour, finished with toasted almonds and served with sultana and coriander couscous.

Red River Nachos
A big dish of corn tortilla chips topped with Mexican inspired, slow roasted pulled pork , melted cheese, chargrill roasted tomato salsa, sour cream and jalapeños.

Sweet Potato Gumbo!
Okra, sweet potato, aubergine, celery & green beans slowly cooked with garlic, thyme and paprika. Served with fluffy basmati rice this Southern American stew has BAGS of flavour!

Borlotti Bean & Chestnut Cassoulet
Rich & full of flavour with sage, rosemary & oregano; served with steamed seasonal vegetables, parmesan & rocket mash or chunky chips.

Nemo’s Nuggets
Children’s fish & chips with homemade nuggets of lightly battered fish, salad & chunky chips.

Our Beef & Poultry is supplied by R. J Trevarthen of Roskrow, Penryn; an independent wholesale butcher . All meat is from local farmers and has full Cornish traceability.

Our delicious sausages, pork joints & hog roasts are kindly supplied by Carnhell Farm located in nearby Carnhell Green. The farm breeds British Lop, Welsh and Gloucester Old Spot pigs. All of their pigs are free range and traditionally reared allowing them to grow slowly which enables the meat to develop a more superior flavour therefore producing delicious cuts of pork.

For over 50 years Matthew Stevens & Son of St Ives in Cornwall have been providing the finest fresh fish and seafood.

As a third generation family business, their reputation has been built on supplying fish that comes from the fishing harbours of the south west including Mevagissey, Looe, Newlyn, and of course, their home port of St Ives. Amongst these boats are the smaller day boats that work closer to shore harvesting smaller quantities but wonderful quality fresh fish and shellfish. Knowing many of these skippers and crew as they do, they are always sure to procure the best of the catch.

All the fish & seafood are prepared at the company’s purpose built preparation and packing facility overlooking St Ives Bay, across to Godrevy and the glorious sandy beaches that Cornwall is famous for.
